Amazing Iceland

Today I watched this special about the recent happenings with Eyjafjallajokull- the Icelandic volcano. It was really neat! I was sitting there wondering how the Icelanders are doing and if I would ever receive a card from there. Finally I go to my mail box and lo and behold there is a card from Iceland! I was so excited- I still am! haha Here it is...

I'm So Excited!

I sent 15 more cards today! 2 swaps, 2 Officials, and the rest are for RR's.

The people at the Post Office are going to hate me because I will have them hold my mail and it will be piling up! I hope they don't lose any! I just filled out the form actually. So yay!
I received three cards today. I still have to scan them and update in the forum, but hopefully I will add them later. I keep saying that and never do it, I'm sorry!

Oh Me Oh My!

I counted up all of the cards that I have sent since May 1 and I came up with over 50! That's not even including the 67 I sent out from April 27 to then! Oh my goodness- no wonder I was running out of stamps! ;) haha

Changes Are A Comin'

Good morning! I decided to change the look of my blog to something a little more appealing. I would love to make summer colors, but I made this, I guess, a more Fall color scheme.

So anyways- I hope the new look doesn't hurt your eyes! Green has been my latest favorite color, but lately orange is becoming so. I'm thinking about collecting orange postcards. I just have so many collection going on already though!

Oh What a Beautiful Mornin'!

So today was a lovely day outside. Actually- it started off rainy. I know because I decided to walk the dog as soon as I woke up. Whoops. But after that I finished writing tons of cards that I had stamped and addressed last night. I made it to the Post Office before the Saturday pick-up. I sent 12 cards for the North American May RR, the 8 final cards for the International RR, and 5 tags. I think that's it. Guess what arrived in my mailbox for today! One Card! I was quite shocked- my mailbox hasn't been that empty in a loooooong time! It was a beautiful beach view of Fraser Island (UNESCO WHS) from crizle (Australia). It is a wonderful card! My scanner isn't working right now so I can't show the card, but I will try to remember to add it later.

Sooo I'm trying to decide if I want to rearrange the way my received cards are organized. Right now they are in the order of what they are, ie. RR, TAG, Swap, etc. I'm really thinking about putting them in order by country. It will be so much work though- after I've already put tons of time into the way they are organized now. I just don't see how this will work for the long run. Hmmm.... I'll think about it later.

But yes- I will be back later with cards- I hope!
